Cindy Adams is devoted to the sport of bowling and any person or organization affiliated to the game. She is co-founder of the “Best of Our Bowling Sircle” tournament group where she has organized and coordinated over 350 teams over the past two decades.
She was honored by the St Joe Valley USBC in 2005 when inducted into its Hall of Fame.
Although she qualifies in multiple categories, due to health issues over the last ten years, she has become the master of organizing groups and squads for various events. Her personal bowling accomplishments include multiple 300 games, multiple State Championship titles, and she has averaged over 200 for several seasons. When she was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 and in 2013, her own bowling took a back seat, as she felt it was difficult to meet “her standards.” During her almost 16 months of treatments, she continued with her numerous board duties and continued helping with various Indiana State Tournaments as well.
The Special Recognition category recognizes these intangibles—the behind the scenes organization and dedication to the advancement of the sport that makes everything have the appearance of running smoothly on tournament day.
Cindy’s bowling history begins with her youth career, flows into her adult years to current and is still going strong!
